Ola Electric Scooter Range Increase: Ola Electric Mobility has launched the new range of its electric scooter in the Indian market on Friday, 31 January 2025. These EVs are named Gen 3 Electric Scooters. The company has installed the new operating system Moveos 5 in electric scooters, which has increased the range of these EVs. Ola has revealed the new S1 Pro, S1 Pro, S1x and S1x+ in the event held on Friday.
Ola S1 Pro and S1 Pro+
Ola S1 Pro has come in the market with two variants. This scooter has a 3 kwh battery pack and the other 4 kwh battery pack option. The S1 Pro claims to give a range of 242 km with a large battery pack. The initial price of Ola S1 Pro is Rs 1,14,999.
Ola S1 Pro+ 4 kwh and 5.3 kwh have been brought into the market with the option of battery pack. Its 4 kwh battery pack will provide a range of 242 km and 320 km from 5.3 kwh battery pack. This model can reach a speed of 141 kmph with large battery packs. The price of Ola S1 Pro Plus starts from Rs 1,54,999.
New price of Ola S1 X and S1 X+
Ola S1 X has three options of battery pack. This electric scooter is in the market with 2,3 and 4 kwh battery packs. Its 2 kwh battery pack will give 108 km, from 3 kwh battery pack 176 km and 4 kwh battery pack will give a range of 242 km. The price of Ola S1 X starts at Rs 79,999.
The Ola S1 X+ is brought with a battery pack of only 4 kwh. It claims to give a range of 242 km in EV single charging. This electric scooter can run up to a top-speed of 125 kmph. The initial price of Ola S1 X+ is Rs 1,07,999.
What will happen to Olaβs Gen 2 electric scooter?
During the launch of Olaβs Gen 3 electric scooter, the companyβs CEO Bhavish Aggarwal said that the previous generation model of these scooters will be sold in the market at a low price. The price of 2 kwh variants of Gen 2 Ola S1 X has been priced at Rs 69,999 and 3 kwh is priced at Rs 79,999. At the same time, S1 Pro is getting in the market for Rs 1,14,999 with 4 kwh battery pack.
