Indian AI Chatbot: Bhavish Aggarwal, founder of Ola, one of India’s most popular cab service companies, has today launched his Made in India AI chatbot service. The name of this chatbot service is Krutrim. It will compete with American AI chatbot services like ChatGPT and Gemini in India. Let us tell you about it.
There will be competition from ChatGPT and Gemini
In the last few months, Artificial Intelligence i.e. AI technology has started spreading its wings very fast in the whole world including India. The result of this is that many services like chatbot are now becoming a necessity for people. American AI company OpenAI gained a lot of popularity by first launching the chatbot service named ChatGPT and millions of users around the world understood how useful the chatbot service made from AI is. In such a situation, how could the world’s leading tech company Google remain behind? Google also launched its AI chatbot service, which was named Gemini.
India’s chatbot service
Like America, the trend of AI is increasing very fast in India too and that is why now Ola founder Bhavish Aggarwar has launched an AI chatbot service made in India, which has been named Artificial. Artificial is a Hindi word, which means artificial. It is also called artificial in English. Artificial has been launched in public beta today i.e. on 26th February. This means that now even common users will be able to use this service. This will work exactly the same as ChatGPT and Gemini.
Artificial will work on LLM
Let us tell you that this launch comes a month after Prashikthi disclosed financing of $50 million at a valuation of $1 billion, which will become the country’s first startup unicorn in 2024. The company mentioned that it is the country’s first AI unicorn. The company had announced this service in the month of December last year. This is the company’s first product, which works on Multiple Large Language Models (LLM), and its name is artificial.
Support of many languages including Hinglish
Giving information about this new thing, Ola’s founder Bhavish Aggarwal wrote in a post on his ex (old name Twitter) that, this is just a beginning for us and this is our first generation product. There is still a lot more to come and we will keep improving it.
