The way has now been cleared for building modern archives in the Old Record Room Collectorate premises. Land has been earmarked in the premises of the District Collectorate for modern archives. The site plan of its land and its construction proposal have been made available to the Building Construction Department. After which the executive engineer of the building construction department has sent it to the architect of the department at the headquarters. As soon as consent is received from there, the work of making the map will be started. After which administrative approval will now be taken from the department. Once this is approved, an estimate for the construction of the new building will be prepared. Once the entire process is completed, a tender will be floated for the construction work of the new building. Then the construction work will start.
It is being told that all the processes will be completed by June this year. Its construction work will be started from July. In this matter, Senior Deputy Collector of Muzaffarpur District Revenue Archives, Saurabh Raj said that its approval had already been received from the headquarters. This is necessary for better maintenance of records. Let us tell you that the record room already built will remain the same. After the new construction, all the work will be done from there.
Construction of modern building will be earthquake resistant
A new archives is to be constructed near the DTO located in the Muzaffarpur Collectorate complex. Land has been marked for this and there is already a dilapidated administrative building here. Building Construction Department will demolish it and build a new building. Let us tell you that this building will be built on 70 feet wide and 200 feet long land. This building will be a complete model. At present, there is a lot of difficulty in maintaining records in the present building. Now with the construction of this new building, it will also have the facility of vehicle parking. Not only this, the construction of this state-of-the-art building will be earthquake resistant and will be extremely strong and durable.
