Bollywood Celebs on Vinesh Phogat: Indian wrestler Vinesh Phogat has achieved a historic feat by defeating Cuba’s Yusnelis Guzman Lopez in the semi-finals at the Paris 2024 Olympics. With this win, Phogat has become the first Indian woman player to reach the final of the 50 kg freestyle wrestling tournament at the Olympics. Now at least her silver medal is confirmed. Taapsee Pannu also celebrated Phogat’s win with a series of pictures on Instagram Stories. She praised Phogat’s flexibility and declared herself a lifelong fan of the wrestler. Ayushmann Khurrana posted an emotional moment of Phogat crying after her win on Instagram, writing, “Indian wrestler Vinesh Phogat could not stop crying after her win over the unbeatable World No. 1 champion.” Actress Patralekhaa too expressed the same sentiments, calling Phogat’s win a “moment for the country” in her Instagram story and said, “What a game… champion.” Vinesh Phogat wins silver.
