He tells that Dinesh Agarwal is its president. He had been thinking about it for a long time. Dinesh Agarwal’s birthday falls on March 17, 2023, so everyone thought that why not start feeding people full meals for just Rs.10 from this day itself. After which this kitchen was started by the trust from March 17 near Gangeshwar Bajrang Mahadev Temple in Rishikesh.
Menu changes every day
The food available in this kitchen may be available for 10 rupees, but they do not compromise at all with the quality of the food and the health of the people. Everyday from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm, food is provided to everyone for Rs.10. The menu changes every day. Sometimes lentils, rice and vegetables, sometimes Chole Bhature, and sometimes vegetables are served in a whole plate. Along with this, they also give one liter water bottle for only Rs.
750 people had food on the first day
Jatin Aggarwal told that on the day this kitchen was started, about 750 people were fed on the same day. At the same time, from that day till today, 1500 people are being fed daily. He is also given full support by Maa Janaki Rasoi. He has already started it and will continue to provide food to everyone for Rs.10 every day as long as Baba wishes.
The main objective of Shree Shyam Rasoi
Their purpose is not limited to this only. Jatin says that everyone wants that a grand temple of Shri Khatu Shyam Baba should be built in Rishikesh and kirtan should be organized every month. Now they have started and they expect to feed around 2500 to 3000 people daily. Not only this, 70 plates are fed free of cost daily to saints and poor by his organization. Vikas, who came to visit Rishikesh, tells that he had come to visit Rishikesh with his friends. While roaming around, his eyes fell on this kitchen and he tasted the food here, which he found very tasty. At the same time, he tells that it is a gesture of service, seeing which he was very happy. On the other hand, Suraj, who came to visit Rishikesh, says that he has not seen and heard anywhere other than Rishikesh, a kitchen that serves food for Rs 10. For the first time, he has eaten a full meal for Rs.10.
