14 days old incident, matter reached the police station
According to the information, on July 18, when a cobra snake was seen near the barrier on the main road in Narayavali on Sagar-Khurai road, people called snake catcher Chandrakumar Ahirwar. Chandrakumar reached the spot and caught the snake, but during the rescue, the cobra attacked and bit the thumbs of both his hands. After the snake bite, the family admitted Chandrakumar to Bhagyodaya Hospital for treatment, where Chandrakumar was discharged from the hospital after recovering. But when the snake was seen there, it was found dead.
