Chhapra. The history of old lady of the district is quite interesting. Due to being in the railway area, several attempts were made to remove this temple, but the railway administration failed to remove this temple. According to the local people, every time the railway administration tried to remove this temple, one or the other untoward happened. And then the railway administration established this temple at the same place where it was earlier.
Apart from the local people, many officials of the railway administration and their family members also come here to offer prayers. There are many peepal and neem trees in the campus of this temple. A large number of birds live on these and there are also many nests. The calm atmosphere here gives a lot of peace to the mind. Where people go to worship with their families. The local people told that the work of laying tracks by removing this temple was being done long ago, but it was not successful. Unfortunate things happened with many people. After which the railway administration had to re-establish that temple there itself.
The track turned near the temple
The special thing is that again the railway administration is doubling the train, but the railway track has been diverted near the temple. The temple has not been removed. The temple is still established at the same place. Although the railway administration has increased the temple campus by adding more soil around the temple. Local woman Bina Mishra told that devotees from Gorakhpur, Siwan, Gopalganj districts and other states also come here in large numbers to pay obeisance. Devotees come here mainly to have darshan of the mother and to ask for their wishes. He also told that once a tree was being cut by the railway administration to remove the temple and lay the track, from which blood started coming. Seeing the blood coming out of the tree, the railway employees stopped the work. The temple was established by the administration with complete rules and regulations. Since then this temple is sitting here. The special thing is that the temple is just near Chhapra junction.
