In Bundelkhand’s Sagar, a 32-year-old man is doing such austerity of Shakti, seeing which everyone is surprised and saying It is not in everyone’s capacity. It has sown sorghum on some parts of its body. In this difficult sadhna which lasts for 9 days, we have taken a pledge to sit at one place without eating or drinking anything. This person is taking 2 spoons of water and 2 spoons of curd as prasad only twice a day.
In fact, Kamlesh Kurmi is sitting in a posture during Chaitra Navratri in Chandpur coming under Rahli block. He had started preparing for this difficult practice 15 days in advance. For this, he had reduced the food little by little. Had given up food and water completely 5 days before Chaitra Navratri. He was taking 2 spoons of water and 2 spoons of curd. He remained waterless on the day of Amavasya and on the Pratipada of Chaitra Navratri, he sat on a wooden chair near the idol of Maa Durga sitting at Guru Bhai’s house.

People of the village reach to see the worship of Kamlesh, then for 9 days, bhajans and devotees of women and men are being organized here. Although Kamlesh is from Suna village of Deori block, but in Chandpur he is worshiping mother at the house of his brother Dharmendra Vishwakarma. Kamlesh has sown sorghum on his body for the second consecutive year.
Before this, last year, he had worshiped Mother by sowing jaware all over his body, lying down on the ground for 9 days at the same place. This time, sitting on the chair, he is engrossed in devotion to the mother. Kamlesh is also a sculptor, a clay Durga idol has also been made by him, which is installed here.
