You will get this healthy dry fruit milk and carrot halwa at Theka Dudh Malai Cafe Dehradun, located near Graphic Era College in Clement Town. Their menu is small, but as healthy as it is. Hot jalebi made from rabri and desi ghee is also available here. Only a month has passed since this cafe started, but customers are praising its idea and its food.
Talking to Local 18, Shivansh of Theka Doodh Malai Cafe said that this cafe is in the student area, hence the youth are being given milk while advising them not to go to the liquor vends. It has only been a month since they started it but their sales are doing well. It has been started by his brother Pankaj Saini and he has two outlets in this area. In winter, customers like hot and healthy food, hence people are getting attracted towards cafes. Theka Doodh Malai was named this because most of the people think that Theka means only wine shop, but he wants to tell people that Theka can also mean milk.
Theka Doodh Malai Menu and Rates
On contract milk and cream, hot milk is in highest demand. Its small kulhad is ₹30 and big kulhad is ₹60. Whereas carrot halwa and rabri is priced at Rs 70 per 100 grams. Desi ghee jalebi is ₹ 550 per kg. 40 to 50 liters of milk is sold easily. There is a sale of carrot halwa between 20-25 kg. About 15 kg of rabri and jalebi are also sold.
