The bike of two youths who were going to attend a wedding ceremony slipped near Barwana intersection due to mud. Both people were seriously injured in the accident. Both were brought to the district hospital for treatment. Where a young man was declared dead by the doctor. The treatment of the other is continuing.
20 year old Kanhaiya, son of Ramlal Singh, resident of village Gwarau of Kotwali Hathras Junction area, was married to his uncle’s son in Agra on 4th February. He was going to Agra by bike from his village Gwarau along with Dharmendra, son of the same village, Shyamveer, to attend a wedding. On the way, his bike slipped due to mud near Barwana intersection. Both were seriously injured in the accident. A crowd of people gathered at the spot. Both the injured were brought to the district hospital for treatment with the help of an ambulance. Where the doctor declared Kanhaiya dead. The family members were immersed in grief as soon as they got to know about the death. The pitiful crying of the family members started in the hospital premises itself. Here, the injured Dharmendra is undergoing treatment in the district hospital.
Kanhaiya’s life could have been saved if the ambulance had not broken down.
Kanhaiya’s family members said that information about the accident was given to 108 ambulance. On receiving the information, the ambulance reached the spot and was bringing both the injured to the district hospital for treatment. The ambulance broke down on the way. Due to this, it took about half an hour of additional time to take the injured to the hospital for treatment. If Kanhaiya had got treatment on time, his life might have been saved.
