A young man died after being hit by a tractor trolley on Wednesday morning near Bijauli village of Robertsganj Kotwali area of Sonbhadra district. His brother-in-law was seriously injured in the accident. He has been admitted to the district hospital. After the incident, angry people blocked the Robertsganj-Khaliyari road. The police reached the spot and kept trying to convince the people.

Sunil Kumar (27), resident of Nandana village, had come to Bijauli village with his brother-in-law Pramod Yadav (24). On Wednesday morning, both were standing on the roadside to return home. Meanwhile, a tractor trolley coming from the front hit him. Anil died on the spot in the accident. Pramod was seriously injured. He was immediately sent to the district hospital.
On the other hand, villagers angry over the incident took to the streets. Blockade in the middle of the road. The villagers were demanding action against the tractor trolley. Sadar Kotwali police reached the spot and tried to end the jam by pacifying the villagers.
Sadar Kotwal Satyendra Rai said that the post in-charge has been directed to take action against the tractor trolley. After informing the relatives of the deceased through phone, necessary action is being taken by sending the body to the district hospital for postmortem.
