Chinese mobile manufacturer OnePlus has launched Oneplus 12 series in India yesterday. Under this series, 2 smartphones have been launched which include OnePlus 12 and 12R. The price of this series in India starts from Rs 64,999 and Rs 39,999 respectively. In this article we are going to compare Oneplus 12 and the older model, 11. In OnePlus 12, you get a 6.82 inch AMOLED LTPO display with 3,168 x 1,440 resolution and refresh rate of 120Hz. The pixel resolution of this phone is 402. Whereas, in the older model, you get 6.7-inch LTPO AMOLED with 3,216 x 1,440 resolution and refresh rate of 120Hz. Its PPI is 525.
Talking about the processor, the new phone has Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip which is faster and power efficient than before. Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip is provided in the old phone. It also offers good performance.

Talking about battery, the old phone has a 5000 mAh battery whereas the new one has a 54000 mAh battery. The company has also made changes in the charger. The old phone has an 80-watt charger, while the new one has a 100-watt wired charger and 50-watt wireless charging. Besides, 10 Watt reverse charging is also provided in Oneplus 12.
In terms of photography, the old phone had three cameras of 50+48+32MP, whereas in the new one the company has given three cameras of 50+48+64MP. A major upgrade has been given to the telephoto lens. Also, the front camera has also been increased from 16 to 32MP in the new model.
Durability Talking about it, the old phone has Gorilla Glass 5 protection in the front and back, whereas the new one has Gorilla Glass Victus 2 in the front and glass panel in the back. OnePlus 12 has aluminum frame and IP65 rating.
You can buy OnePlus 11 in 8/128GB and 16/256GB, while you can order the new model in 256GB/512GB and 1TB with 12,16,24GB RAM options.
What is the best?
Overall, the company has made a lot of upgrades in the new phone compared to the old one. However, its price is Rs 8,000 more than Oneplus 11. You can choose between new and old as per your budget and taste. You can now buy old models of OnePlus cheaply from e-commerce websites because it is one year old. OnePlus 11 is being sold at Vijay Sales for Rs 52,999.
