OnePlus is ready to launch its two new smartphones OnePlus 13 and OnePlus 13R today. These smartphones coming in the company’s premium lineup will get many upgrades in design, performance and features. A day before the launch, the company has given information about some of its features and upgrades. Let us know what information has been revealed so far about this series.
Both phones will come with flat display
Talking about design, the company is changing the curved display in this lineup. Both the smartphones will come with a new flat display, which is giving a fresh look. The camera module is circular like older smartphones, but the design element connecting the camera bump to the phone’s frame has been removed. Due to this the look of the phone has changed a lot. OnePlus 13 will come in vegan leather and glass finishing. It has got IP68 and IP69 rating for water and dust resistance. Customers will not get leather option in OnePlus 13R.
Battery and Software
Both the phones will come with a powerful battery of 6,000mAh, which will support fast charging. Both phones will run on Oxygen OS15 based on Android 15. OnePlus 13 is expected to get Android updates for four years and security updates for five years, while OnePlus 13R will get Android and security updates for three and four years respectively.
There will be triple camera setup in the lineup
OnePlus 13 is expected to have 50MP Sony LYT-808 primary sensor, 50MP telephoto lens and 50MP ultra-wide camera. On the other hand, OnePlus 13R can get 50MP primary sensor, 50MP telephoto lens and 8MP ultra-wide sensor. If this happens, then this OnePlus 13R will be the first phone in the company’s R-series to come with a telephoto lens.
What could be the possible price?
The price of OnePlus 13 in the country can be between Rs 67,000 to Rs 70,000, while OnePlus 13R can also be launched for less than Rs 50,000. The reason for the expensive price of 13 is the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset given in it. However, no information has been given by the company regarding the price yet.
