Ingredients to make Onion Raita
Onion finely chopped – 2
Curd – 2 cups
Ginger grated – 1 tsp
chilli powder
Green chili finely chopped – 1
Raita Masala – 1 tsp
Sugar – 1/4 tsp
Cumin – 1/2 tsp
Green coriander – 2 tbsp
Oil – 1 tbsp
salt – as per taste

Onion Raita Recipe
Onion raita is very much liked in summer. It is also very easy to make. For this, first remove the upper peel of the onion and chop it finely. After this, finely chop green chilies and green coriander. Now take a deep bottom vessel and add curd and a little water to it and whisk it well. It may take 2-3 minutes to beat. When the curd becomes thin, keep it aside.

Now put some oil in a nonstick pan and keep it on medium heat to heat. When the oil becomes hot, add cumin and chopped green chillies and fry for a few seconds. After this add onion and fry lightly on low flame. Now cook the beaten curd in the pan. After cooking for 1-2 minutes, add red chili powder, sugar and salt as per taste to the curd and mix while stirring with a spoon.

Now let the raita cook for 2 more minutes, then put green coriander leaves on top and turn off the gas. Onion raita full of taste and nutrition is ready.
