Google: OnePlus and Oppo, two Chinese smartphone companies of BBK smartphone firm, have partnered with Google, so that they can include Google’s large language model Gemini (Gemini AI) in their phones.

This means that in the coming time, smartphone users will get the support of Google’s Gemini AI in the phones of OnePlus and Oppo company. Under this partnership, Gemini Ultra 1.0 will be included in the phones of Oppo and OnePlus, which will come with many special AI features. These features include many things including news, audio summary, AI toolbox.
At the Google Cloud Next 2024 event, Oppo and OnePlus AI Product General Manager Nicole Zhang has confirmed the partnership with Google. Along with this confirmation, it was also confirmed that Gemini Ultra will be made available in OnePlus and Oppo phones by the end of this year.

However, it is being said that the features of Gemini Ultra 1.0 will be available in some selected smartphones of these two companies. Interestingly, some phones from Oppo and OnePlus like Find X7 and OnePlus 12 have already received generative AI features in China.
The company says that after the users of China, now other users of the world will also be able to use the Google Gemini AI feature in Oppo and OnePlus phones. In such a situation, the question arises that which features of Google Gemini Ultra will be included in the phones of these two companies. OnePlus and Oppo smartphone users will be able to take advantage of many other features like News, Audio Summary, AI Toolbox, Circle to Search thanks to Gemini AI Ultra in their phones.
Which phones will have AI features?
Now the second question that arises in this matter is which smartphones of Oppo and OnePlus will have Google Gemini AI features available. There is currently no definite answer available to this question, because both these companies have not yet announced the list of their respective smartphones in which Google Gemini AI support will be provided.
However, it is believed that Gemini AI features will be included in the flagship phones i.e. top-end phones of both the companies. In such a situation, Gemini features can be provided in OnePlus 12 series as well as OnePlus 11 series through update. At the same time, Oppo company can also include Gemini AI features in its Find X series phones and Reno series phones.
