Congress has decided not to participate in the Pran Pratistha program of Ram Temple. Some Congress leaders have expressed objection to this decision of the party. Congress leader Acharya Pramod Krishnam is also included among these leaders. Pramod Krishnam said on Thursday (January 11, 2024) that Ram does not belong to any party. He does not belong to BJP or RSS. He is in the hearts of crores of people who believe in Sanatan Dharma. In such a situation, Congress should not have issued an unacceptable letter. He said, our fight is with BJP. Our fight is not against Ayodhya or Ram Mandir. Our fight is not with Hindus.
In a special conversation with ABP News, Acharya Pramod Krishnam said, see, it is not right to associate Lord Ram with any one party. Ram neither belongs to BJP, nor to RSS, nor to Congress. Ram is in the hearts of crores of people who believe in Sanatan Dharma. It is a matter of good fortune to get the invitation to Ram temple. If any party does not want to go to Ram temple, it would just issue a letter of gratitude thanking Ram Janmabhoomi. Congress was not to issue an unacceptable letter. A word like ‘unacceptable’ should not have been written in it. This has hurt the hearts of crores of people. There are crores of people in Congress also, who consider Lord Ram as a symbol of faith. The question is not about BJP or Congress, the question is about culture, civilization and Sanatan Dharma.

Acharya Pramod Krishnam said, “See, this is a big fight within the Congress. There are many Congress leaders who believe that the party is not anti-Hindu. Congress is a party that believes in Mahatma Gandhi, who used to call him ‘Raghupati Raghav Raja Ram’. Congress is the party of Rajiv Gandhi, who had opened the doors of Ram Temple. Leaders in Congress who believed in Mahatma Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi were in favor of accepting the invitation. Acharya Pramod Krishnam said, I have done the work of conveying my feelings publicly and in the party forum. I think Congress should reconsider this decision. I believe that we have to fight BJP, our fight is not with Ram. Our fight is not against Ayodhya. Not from Hindu religion.
