Padma Awards 2023: Six people, including former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister and Samajwadi Party founder Mulayam Singh Yadav, have been selected for the Padma Vibhushan, the country’s second highest civilian honour. This information has been given in an official statement issued on the eve of Republic Day. But SP MP from Mainpuri Dimple Yadav is not happy with Netaji getting the Padma Vibhushan award. now he prime minister Narendra Modi (Narendra Modi) has kept his demand.
Mainpuri MP Dimple Yadav hoisted the flag in Saifai on Republic Day. During this, reacting to Netaji getting Padma Vibhushan, he demanded the government to give Bharat Ratna to Netaji. He said, “The way Netaji was of stature, he should have got Bharat Ratna earlier. I request the government that Netaji should get Bharat Ratna.”
While Netaji’s younger daughter-in-law Aparna Yadav welcomed the decision of the Prime Minister and the Central Government on receiving the Padma Vibhushan. She said, “I welcome this decision of the central government under the leadership of the Prime Minister on conferring the Padma Bhushan award on revered father Mulayam Singh Yadav, former Defense Minister of the country and former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, by the Government of India.”

Along with Mulayam Singh Yadav, Dr. Dilip Mahalnabis and famous architect Balkrishna Doshi have been posthumously selected for Padma Vibhushan. Whereas this year, no name has been announced for Bharat Ratna, the country’s highest civilian award.
Rakesh Jhunjhunwala (posthumously), actress Raveena Tandon, Manipur BJP president T Chouba Singh are among 91 people selected for the Padma Shri award. These honors are conferred by the President in formal ceremonies which are usually held at the Rashtrapati Bhavan in March or April every year. The President has given approval for 106 Padma Awards for 2023.
