Pakistan Former PM got offer release from jail What Imran Khan reaction

Former Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan said on Monday (December 30, 2024) that he neither wants to make any deal with the government nor is any other country trying to get him released from jail. Imran Khan’s sister Alima Khan said this while talking to the media outside Rawalpindi’s Adiala Jail after the hearing of Toshakhan 2.0 case.

Alima Khan said that Khan, who is in jail, asks why he needs to make a deal when the cases are pending against him. According to him, Imran Khan also said that he has spent time in jail and now that his cases are ending, he is not making any deals.

Alima Khan said that the talks team will make two demands, which include the release of all political prisoners and the formation of a commission to investigate the violence that took place on May 9, 2023, and November 26 this year.

The next round of talks between the two sides will be held on January 2 at 11 am in the office of National Assembly Speaker Ayaz Sadiq, who is facilitating the talks between the two sides.

Speaking to his lawyers and journalists on Thursday, Imran Khan said, ‘I have received a message to make a deal, in which they have said that they will give political space to our party, but will put me under house arrest and will send me from Adiala jail to my Bani. Will shift to Gala residence.

imran khan Said, ‘I replied that first release the remaining political prisoners. I will remain in jail but will not accept any deal. I will not go under house arrest or in any jail in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The conversation was posted on his social media account, however, the post did not clarify who had offered Khan the deal.
