Nawaz Sharif On India: Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit is going to be held in Pakistan on 15-16 October. For this, Foreign Minister S Jaishankar has reached from the Indian side. Meanwhile, former Prime Minister of Pakistan Nawaz Sharif gave his opinion regarding relations with India. He said that if the Prime Minister Narendra Modi It would have been better if he had come to Pakistan to attend the SCO summit.

During an interview given to journalist Barkha Dutt, Nawaz Sharif said that I have been supporting good relations with India from the beginning. I hope that relations between us will improve again and I will get a chance to sit and talk with PM Modi in the coming times.

During the interview, Nawaz Sharif also talked about the economic situation of Pakistan. He said that his country is asking for money from the whole world, while India is going to the moon. He has a treasure of 600 billion dollars. He is organizing the G20 summit, while we are begging in front of Arab countries including China for $1 billion each. In such a situation, what respect is left for us? However, this is not the first time that Nawaz Sharif has talked about relations with India. He has stressed on improving relations many times in the past also.

Admitted the mistake of breaking the promise to India
In the interview, Nawaz Sharif said that breaking the promise to India was his mistake. He said that whatever happened in the Kargil war was our fault. We did not accept the Lahore Agreement. We are guilty for this. We should not have done this.
