Pakistan Targeted Militant Targets In Iran: Pakistan has allegedly taken revenge for the drone and missile attack carried out by Iran in Balochistan. According to sources, Pakistan has allegedly attacked terrorist targets in Iran just a day after Iran’s attack. Pakistan had strongly criticized the attack carried out by Iran in Pakistan on Tuesday night and had talked about retaliatory action. Pakistan had told that two children and three women had died in the attack by Iran.
Before the Pakistani attack, Iran’s Foreign Minister Aamir Abdullahiyan had said that there are fraternal relations between the two countries. The Foreign Minister had said that even though Iran attacked Pakistan’s territory, the attack was not on Pakistan but on Iranian terrorists hiding in Pakistan. He said, “Jaish ul-Adl is an Iranian terrorist organization. It has taken shelter in some parts of Sistan-Baluchistan province of Pakistan.”
sourness in relations
After Iran’s attack, Pakistan recalled its ambassador from Tehran and banned the Iranian ambassador from returning to Pakistan. Pakistani Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch said, “Pakistan has decided to recall its ambassador, while we have not allowed the Iranian ambassador to Pakistan to come back to Pakistan, currently he is in Iran, but for some time.” Till then he cannot come to Pakistan.”
How are Pakistan-Iran relations?
An unprecedented period of tension is going on between Pakistan and Iran. Even though the relations between the two countries had not been very good before, the situation had never deteriorated so much before. Iran and Pakistan share borders, yet there is no interdependent relationship between the two. Iran is a Shia majority country while Pakistan is a Sunni majority country. Both countries keep accusing each other of terrorist attacks from time to time. Iran has many times accused Pakistan of drug smuggling from across the border.
