The report said on Wednesday that after the discovery of 5 new bodies on Tuesday, the number of dead bodies has now increased to 22. After this, the situation in the city has worsened further.

Concerns have also increased over these mysterious deaths. A spokesperson for the NGO Chhipa Welfare Association said that their workers have found 5 more bodies in different areas of Karachi. He said that 3 of them appeared to be drug addicts. However, not a single body has been identified yet. According to Pakistani media, the Chhipa organization runs an ambulance network in the city and has confirmed that the number of unidentified bodies has reached 22. These bodies are unclaimed because no relative of the deceased came to collect them.

According to the report, the cause of these deaths in Karachi is believed to be heatwave. People are dying due to extreme heat in the port city. Many citizens of the city have been affected by this heat, many of whom had to be hospitalized due to heatstroke. The trend of drug addiction is on the rise
Azim Khan, an official of the Edhi Foundation in Karachi, told The News that most of the people found dead were drug addicts who died under the influence of drugs due to extreme heat. When a senior citizen stopped the drug addicts outside his house, he was brutally attacked, ARY News reported. The incident shows the growing problem of drug abuse in Pakistan.
