Pakistan Crime News: In Pakistan, a young man allegedly killed four female members of his family, including his mother and sister, for living a modern lifestyle and using social media. Police said that Bilal Ahmed was arrested on Saturday (October 19). After this, he was presented in the court on Monday (21 October), from where he was sent to police custody.
During the hearing, Bilal told the court that he slit the throats of his mother, sister, niece and sister-in-law because their modern lifestyle had ruined his married life. She also always taunted him.
Police officer Shaukat Awan, who is investigating the case, said, “This is a clear case of Bilal being mentally unstable and ultra-conservative.”
Bodies of women found in Karachi apartment
After the murder, the bodies of the four women were found in their apartment in Old Soldier Bazaar area of Karachi on Saturday. Awan said, “During the investigation it was revealed that Bilal used to have daily fights with these women. He blamed them and their modern lifestyle for his wife leaving him, as she was a religious woman.
He told, “Bilal also had objections to the use of social media by the four women. He was angry with his sister and niece for posting their pictures and videos on social media.
In order to kill his sister, he killed everyone.
Bilal told the police that he initially just wanted to ‘teach his sister a lesson’, but later realized that he could not leave any eyewitness alive, so he killed all four women.
