Meanwhile, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has said that it is shameful for him to ask for more loan. According to The Express Tribune, loans are not the solution to the current economic challenges facing the country, because what is taken has to be returned.

Meanwhile, the PM of Pakistan also thanked Saudi Arabia for the financial assistance. He said that during the last 75 years, different governments, whether led by political leaders or military dictators, have not been able to solve the economic issues.

While addressing the passing out ceremony of Probationary Officers of Pakistan Administrative Service (PSS) on Saturday (January 14), the Prime Minister appealed to the civil servants to strengthen the country. He urged the civil servants to serve the country and the nation to the best of their ability and hoped that they would be able to pull the country out of the current challenges. The Prime Minister reminded them that they would face issues like unemployment, poverty, disease, lack of education and delay in solving public problems.

Accusations against the previous government

The Pakistan Administrative Services ceremony was attended by Punjab Governor Balighur Rehman, retired judge officers and several families. Referring to the previous government at the function, the Prime Minister said that baseless allegations were leveled against some officers, due to which their families had to face embarrassment. He said that due to such a situation, civil bureaucrats think twice before taking any step, which was a real hindrance.

The Prime Minister insisted that this should be a collective agenda of all of them. Those holding political positions should provide a right environment to the civil bureaucracy to serve the people with dedication. He said that if a congenial environment is provided to civil servants, they can perform to their full potential.
