Now criminals committing cyber fraud are coming forward with new tricks. These days there is a lot of talk about a fraud. In which the person committing fraud tells you. Your father has asked me to transfer money to your account and is committing fraud. Let us know how this fraud happens. 

Papa asked to deposit money and fraud happened

Earlier, cyber fraud used to happen through bank account details or mobile OTP. Now cyber fraud is being carried out in another new way. This fraud is being done through Google Pay and Phone Pay and other UPI apps. In this fraud the criminal calls and tells. ‘Your father has asked me to transfer money to your account.’ After hearing this, people usually become happy that money will come into the account. 

After this he verifies your number. He asks you to send the money in two stages. For example, it says that you have to send ₹ 14000. Ten thousand at one time and four thousand at the second time. He will also send you its screenshots on the phone itself. In a screenshot his amount will be seen as ₹10000. So in the second screenshot ₹ 40000 will be visible. 

Then he will say that he has sent you ₹40000 by mistake instead of ₹4000. You return ₹36000 to him. If you don’t listen to his words, he will put pressure on you.  If you returned the money under pressure after seeing the screenshot. Then you will be cheated.

Make fake screenshots

Actually, these criminals prepare such fake screenshots within minutes. Anyone’s eyes will be deceived after seeing them. Your name will be correct in the screenshot. Transaction ID will also be given. And everything will be the same as shown when sending money through Phone Pay or Google Pay. If you receive such a call, report it immediately to the cyber cell.
