How to observe Papamochani Ekadashi fast
Ekadashi fast is observed in two ways: waterless and fruit-free. Water fast should be observed only by a completely healthy person. Other people can observe fruit fast. During this fast, one should consume satvik food on Dashami. On the morning of Ekadashi, one should take a holy bath in a river or lake. Then offer flowers, sandalwood paste, incense sticks and bhog to Lord Vishnu and worship him. After this, recite the eleventh chapter of Srimad Bhagavad Gita.
