People here eat samosas with great enthusiasm. Over the years, many shopkeepers have been winning the hearts of people with their wonderful taste. Among them, Pappu’s shop (cart) situated at Chungi Naka next to Model Higher Secondary School of the city is quite famous. For the last 10 years, people are liking the taste of curd samosas. This test is not only ruling the tongues of school and college children but everyone from young to old are crazy about this test.
Let us tell you that Pappu’s cart is placed at the octroi naka from 6 am to 11 am. A crowd of people is seen here all the time. Many times they wait for their turn for a long time. The price of a plate of samosas here is only Rs 15. Hot peas, tomato chutney, chilli chutney, sweet chutney and curd are also mixed with two samosas in a plate.

Pappu Kesarwani, the operator of this stall, told that he and one of his friends start preparing for making samosas from 3 in the morning. About 300 to 500 people are fed samosas every day. Many spices including celery are used in samosas. People are liking the taste here very much and the number of people is increasing day by day. Shopkeeper Pappu Kesarwani claims that we were the first to start serving curd samosa in Rewa. Whereas many types of chutneys are also made with samosas.
