Paraly News: Kharif crops are being harvested and sold in the markets, while farmers have left the crop residue i.e. stubble in the fields. Now farmers are burning stubble in the fields for quick disposal. Burning of stubble has created a threat of pollution in Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and other states. But experts say that instead of burning stubble, farmers can also earn from it by using it properly.
The state government is also giving compensation per acre for the proper disposal of stubble. Stubble can be used as fertilizer. For better farming, farmers can mix the stubble in the soil with the help of mulcher, turnpike hail and rotavator etc. After this, potatoes can be sown. Farmers say that by mixing stubble in the soil, a better crop of potatoes can be produced.
For a good potato crop, it is necessary for the soil to be hard. This will allow the stubble to show its effect easily. The potato production in the field is up to 70-80 quintals per acre.
Farmers are earning a lot in Haryana

They were given one thousand rupees per acre. Talking about the old records, 910 farmers had taken advantage of the scheme in the year 2020-21. They were given Rs 68 lakh 65 thousand as incentive by the government.
Can be used to make fodder for animals
Experts say that just like paddy straw, wheat straw is also there. Wheat stubble is rich in nutrients. By burning straw, it can be used as fodder. It can be used as fodder. By burning straw, nitrogen, phosphorus, potash and other micro elements of the soil get destroyed. Apart from this, the farmer’s friendly insects also die. This increases the number of enemy insects.
