Actually, when work started on this film, Vanga wanted to see the bright actress Parineeti Chopra in this role. However, she could not become a part of this film. She could not be a part of the film due to her schedule. And Rashmika was cast in the film.
When Animal was released, it earned more than Rs 900 crore and Rashmika’s fan base also increased. However, Parineeti has said that she has no regrets about not being a part of the film.

In Chamkila, Parineeti Chopra played the role of Amarjota, the wife of Diljit Dosanjh, the famous Punjabi singer Amar Singh Chamkila. Chamkila, who became famous for his different songs, and his wife were shot dead on March 8, 1988.
