For the convenience of passengers, DMRC has launched many services. One of those services is to buy metro tickets through WhatsApp. Now this service has been upgraded. Passengers will now be able to buy metro tickets through WhatsApp. Apart from this, they will also be able to recharge the metro card.

For this, the existing ticketing chatbot has been made advanced so that passengers do not have to stand in long queues to buy tickets or recharge metro cards, due to which a lot of their time is wasted.

How to recharge metro card through WhatsApp

To recharge your metro card, you have to send ‘Hi’ to +91 9650855800. After this, by following the instructions given in the chat window with the chatbot, you will be able to recharge the card by paying through UPI, debit or credit card. After this service, now passengers will not have to go to the ticket counter or take the help of third-party apps.

Apart from this, Android and iOS users will also get the option to access the chatbot by tapping on the WhatsApp payment option. This service can be availed on all lines in Gurugram Rapid Metro and Delhi NCR.

Meanwhile, Ravi Garg, Business Messaging Director at Meta in India, said that the option of recharging metro pass with the help of WhatsApp will give a better experience to the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation passengers.
