A young man died in a road accident in Fatuha, Patna late on Saturday night. The young man was returning home to Patna after delivering bangles and curd from his in-laws on the occasion of Makar Sankranti. In this sequence, he died on the spot after being hit by a truck. As soon as information about the incident was received, there was chaos among the family members. The deceased has been identified as Deepak Kumar, 28, who was a resident of Nalanda district.

It is being told that Deepak Kumar had gone to his in-laws’ house to deliver Chuda Dahi on the occasion of Makar Sankranti. Late on Saturday night, Deepak was returning to his home in Patna on his motorcycle. Due to cold and fog, his motorcycle went out of control and collided with a truck parked on the roadside. It is being told that in this accident, Deepak Kumar died lying at the spot. Local people informed this to Fatuha police station. As soon as the information was received, the police of Fatuha police station reached the spot. Police have sent the body of the deceased to Nalanda Medical College Hospital for post-mortem and have started further investigation.

People nearby told that Deepak Kumar used to work in making sweets in a shop in Punpun. It is being told that Deepak Kumar has three small children. After this accident, such a mountain of sorrow fell on Deepak’s family and the condition of the family members is becoming completely miserable due to crying. Confirming the incident, Fatuha police station in-charge Jai Shankar Kumar said that the family members of the deceased have been informed about this. He said that the police has currently sent the body of the deceased to Patna for post-mortem and has started further action.
