Ankita Lokhande Sushant Singh Rajput: Ankita Lokhande became popular in every household by playing the role of Archana in the popular TV show ‘Pavitra Rishta’. The audience loved the pairing of Archana and Manav in this show. Recently, this serial has completed 15 years. On this occasion, Ankita thanked Ekta Kapoor and Balaji Telefilms for giving her such an important role at the beginning of her career and said how this role changed her entire life.

Along with this, Ankita Lokhande remembered her co-actor and once boyfriend, the late Sushant Singh Rajput. The actress said, ‘These are not just 15 years of Archana, these are also 15 years of Archana and Manav, a couple who understood love, marriage, understanding. They taught me what a perfect marriage means. I bet there is no on-screen couple like Archana and Manav and all the credit goes to the audience who showered so much love on us.’
The actress further added, ‘Manav completed Archana. He was, is and will always be remembered whenever Archana is mentioned because his Pavitra Rishta is as much my Pavitra Rishta with all of you. Without his guidance, I would not have been able to become who I am today. Without Manav, there is no Archana. This is as much my celebration as it is his. We are proud of him and remember, as long as there are stars in the sky, we will have each other’s support. Closeness or distance, just love will prevail between us… Pavitra Rishta then, now and forever…’
‘I was destined to become Archana’
Along with this, talking about her career, Ankita wrote- ’15 years ago, I started my journey as Archana in ‘Pavitra Rishta’. I did not know that even after years I would continue to get so much love for my character, which has also become my identity. I sometimes feel that it was my destiny to become Archana. She was inside me and I still keep her inside me. That character has taught me a lot about life.’

Further, she said, ‘Whether I am alive or not, the love I have received from Archana and Pavitra Rishta from all of you will keep me alive in your hearts forever and I don’t think there is anything more precious than this. But my journey would not have ended here if I had not got Sushant’s support. When I started Pavitra Rishta, I did not even know how to act. He taught me and I will always be grateful to him.’
