Paytm UPI Lite: The use of UPI Payment (UPI) is increasing continuously. Today people pay for everything from tea, coffee to lunch, dinner etc. through Paytm etc. If you also use PTM a lot throughout the day, then there is good news for you. Actually, Paytm has added a new feature called UPI Lite in the app which allows you to do small transactions without entering your PIN.

Actually, till now if you used to drink tea for Rs.10 at a shop or have breakfast or lunch for Rs.50 or Rs.100, then when you used to pay for it with Paytm, you had to enter your PIN during the payment. But now after the introduction of the new feature, you will not have to enter PIN again and again for small payments. That is, you can do small transactions without entering the PIN.

You can pay only this amount without entering the PIN.

Through Paytm UPI Lite, you can make payments up to Rs.200 only without entering a PIN. Also, you can add only Rs 4,000 to Paytm UPI Lite Wallet in 1 day. You can adopt any method to add money.

UPI Lite has been designed by the National Payment Corporation of India, which was launched by the Reserve Bank of India last year. Paytm has now added this feature to the app. The purpose of bringing this feature is to save people’s time and improve the app experience.

Note, whatever payment you make through Paytm UPI Lite will be visible in the Paytm balance and history section. These transactions will not reflect in your bank passbook and you will not have to face problems due to small transactions. Till now the details of Rs 5, 10, 100 or 200 etc. were included in the bank passbook, but now this will not happen. Because of this feature, your passbook will also not fill up quickly and big transactions will remain organized.
