Gauhar/Delhi : On social media, we keep watching many such videos on the coming days, in which someone is either killing or torturing street dogs. In such a situation, the News 18 Local team came across a person who feeds KFC chicken to Rose Street dogs. The special thing is that KFC’s chicken is considered very expensive.
The name of this person is ‘Mithun’. ‘Mithun’ works as a housekeeper in the food court of ‘Okhla Bird Sanctuary’ metro station. The team of News 18 Local asked many questions to ‘Mithun’, on which he said that he has been working at this place for almost 3 months and since then he has been feeding the street dogs here.
‘Monthly salary is very less’
‘Mithun’ told that he takes care of these street dogs in every way. Before adding chicken to them, he thoroughly washes the spices applied on top of this chicken. ‘Mithun’ also told that he collects the leftover chicken bones and gives them to these street dogs. The surprising thing in this was that the total monthly salary of ‘Mithun’ is only around Rs 12,300, but still he withdraws money from it to feed these street dogs.
Reason for attachment to street dogs
‘Mithun’ told that he also has two dogs at home, named ‘Tiger’ and ‘Chinky’. This is the reason why he loves street dogs too. ‘Mithun’ believes that dogs are more loyal than humans. He doesn’t like to see them hungry, that’s why he often gives them food.
‘Father does government job’
Mithun told that he is only tenth pass. He is a resident of ‘Sadarpur’, ‘Uttar Pradesh’ and apart from his parents, he also has siblings in his house. His father does a government job and he currently does private work in the food court of ‘Okhla Bird Sanctuary’.
