Punjab comes at number four
Punjab is at number four in this list. 28.5 percent of the population of Punjab state with a population of about 3 crores consumes alcohol. Here, the number of regular alcohol drinkers is 6 percent of it. About 28 percent of the population of Arunachal Pradesh, which is included in the fifth number, consumes alcohol. Goa comes at number six in this list. About 26.4 percent of the population here consumes alcohol. According to the NFHS report, 19.9 percent of the people in Kerala consume alcohol.
