There was a huge uproar on Sampoorna Samadhan Diwas in Sadar Tehsil in Agra, Uttar Pradesh on Saturday. The people who came along with her mother started carrying a girl in front of the SDM. The daughter started screaming for help, accusing the mother of kidnapping. Police intervened. Force had to be called from Shahganj police station. The police took both the parties to the police station.
SDM Navodita Sharma and officials of other departments were holding public hearing during Sampoorna Samadhan Diwas. At 12 noon, more than 30 men and women entered the auditorium. They started dragging the 16-year-old girl standing in front of the officers out. When she was taken in her lap, the girl started screaming accusing her of kidnapping. As the tension escalated, a commotion started.
The police and department officials of various police stations in the auditorium could not understand the matter. After the uproar, kicking and punching started between both the parties. On information, police reached Shahganj police station. Went to the police station with both the parties. Even while taking her to the police station, women stopped the car and tried to drag the girl.
Case of murder registered against woman
Tehsildar Sadar Rajneesh Vajpayee told that there is a dispute between a woman and her daughter. A case of murder of her husband has been registered against the woman. The daughter says that the mother got her disabled father killed. On the other hand, mother says that brother-in-law made my husband make a will. His name should be removed and my name should be recorded in the revenue records. My daughter should be sent with me. The daughter told the police that the court had handed her over to her grandparents. She will not go with mother. The police have handed over the daughter to her grandparents.
8 out of 134 complaints resolved
134 complaints were received on Tehsil Day on Saturday. Out of which eight could be disposed of. 126 complainants returned disappointed. Maximum 38 complaints were related to Revenue, 26 Police, 14 Municipal Corporation, 15 Block and eight DUDA.
