Purvanchal’s first rail coach restaurant started from Saturday near gate number one of Banaras railway station. Here the facility of delicious dishes is being provided in the normal budget. The restaurant was inaugurated by Cantt MLA Saurabh Srivastava. Information about the sightseeing places of Varanasi is being given through videos in the restaurant.
Along with food and breakfast, free Wi-Fi facility is also available. The MLA said that this initiative of the Railways is unique. Eating in the restaurant gives the feel of a train journey. The design of Maharaja is attractive.
The coach restaurant has been erected on the railway tracks. Arrangements have been made to sit and eat for 48 people inside and 36 outside.
People are relishing the food amid classical music and folk songs. This unique restaurant is built next to the number one entrance of Banaras Railway Station, which will give you the feel of a rail coach from outside but a Maharaja Express train from inside.
Veg, non-veg and continental food will be served in this coach restaurant as per the choice of the people. Selfie point has also been made here. Divisional Railway Manager Ramashray Pandey, Senior Divisional Commercial Manager Sanjeev Sharma, Senior Divisional Mechanical Engineer Alok Kesharwani were present on the occasion of inauguration on Saturday.
