BJP can make Gangapar District President Kavita Patel its candidate from Phulpur by-election. The party may announce his name soon. The last date for nomination is 26 October.

BJP can field Kavita Patel as its candidate for Phulpur assembly by-election. The party can announce this soon. If sources are to be believed, BJP has almost finalized the name of Kavita Patel, only the formalities are left. The last date for filing nomination papers for the elections is fixed till 26th October. Kavita is currently the President of BJP Gangapar.

SP has declared Mujtaba and BSP has declared Jitendra as its candidate.
In Phulpur by-election, BJP has made Mujtaba Siddiqui and SP its candidate Jitendra Kumar Singh. Mujtaba Siddiqui was also a candidate from SP in the 2022 general elections and was defeated by BJP’s Praveen Singh Patel by a small margin. BSP had earlier fielded Shivbaran Pasi but suddenly canceled his ticket and declared Jintendra Kumar Singh, a resident of Hanumanganj, as its candidate. BJP has not revealed its cards yet. It is being speculated that BJP can make only Patel its candidate. Kavita Patel’s name is considered almost certain.
