This year, Pitru Paksha is starting from 17 September 2024 and will end on 2 October 2024. In Pitru Paksha, Shradh is performed for the peace of the soul of our ancestors. If for some reason you cannot come to Gaya for the peace of the soul of your ancestors, then do not worry. A special facility has been provided for you by the Bihar government. You will be able to do Pind Daan online from home. Arrangements have been made for this by the Bihar State Tourism Corporation. By spending just 23 thousand rupees, you can worship your ancestors through e-Pind Daan. This amount has to be deposited in lump sum. After this, the priests of Gaya will perform Pind Daan at Vishnupad Temple, Akshayvat and Falgu River. All rituals including mantras, donations and worship materials will be done online.

Travel-tour packages for devotees are also available
Crowds of devotees throng the Pitrupaksha fair. Many times, people coming from the country and abroad do not get proper accommodation arrangements. Many times, despite spending a lot of money, they are deprived of good facilities. Keeping this in mind, Bihar State Tourism Corporation has arranged tour packages for the devotees this time.
Four people can visit Gaya for Rs 25250
In this, under Patna-Punpun-Gaya-Patna tour package, there is a package of Rs. 16650 per person for one day. The package for four people has been fixed at Rs. 30650. This is the rate of four star hotel. For AC general, one person will have to pay Rs. 14450 and four people will have to pay Rs. 26250. Apart from this, those who take Gaya tour package will have to pay Rs. 13450 for one day and Rs. 25250 for four people for the facility in four star hotel. In AC general hotel, one person will have to pay Rs. 11250 and for four people Rs. 20850. For Gaya-Bodhgaya-Rajgir-Nalanda-Gaya tour package for one night and two days in four star hotel, one person will have to pay Rs. 18750 and for four people Rs. 32850. In normal AC hotel, one person will have to pay Rs. 16550 and for four people Rs. 28450.
