Afghanistan Plane Crash: A terrible accident occurred due to a plane losing its way in Zebak district of Badakhshan, Afghanistan. According to Afghan media, the plane crashed into a mountain. According to Russian media sources, this is Falcon 10 aircraft. It was flying as a charter ambulance en route from Gaya (India) to Zhukovsky (Russia). The Falcon 10 aircraft missing in Afghanistan is registered in the State Register of Civil Aircraft of Russia. According to preliminary data, there were 6 people on board the missing Falcon, including 4 crew members and 2 passengers.

What has happened till now?

According to Afghan news service Tolo News, Zabihullah Amiri, head of the Information and Culture Department of Badakhshan, said that an Indian passenger plane crashed in the Topkhana hills adjacent to the Quran-Munjan and Jibak districts of Badakhshan province. He said that a team has been sent to the area to investigate the incident. According to local people, the plane crashed on Sunday morning.

However, the Indian Civil Aviation Ministry, in a post on X, has rejected the claims of this aircraft being Indian. The ministry wrote in a tweet, “The unfortunate plane crash that has just occurred in Afghanistan is neither an Indian scheduled aircraft nor a non-scheduled (NSOP) charter aircraft. It is a small aircraft registered in Morocco. More details are awaited.”

Indian news agency ANI has quoted DGCA officials as saying that the plane that was the victim of the accident is not Indian. DGCA officials have told ANI that this aircraft is a DF-10 aircraft registered in Morocco.
