The PM Kisan Yojana, a 100% funding from the Government of India, is a Central Sector Scheme. In this, the amount goes directly to the bank accounts of the farmer. EKYC can be done in three types
-E-KYC can be done from OTP from PM-Kisan portal and mobile app.
β To get biometric e-KYC, the farmer will have to go to the Common Service Center and State Service Center.
-Face authentication-based e-KYC can be done from PM Kisan Mobile App. Which are being used by many farmers.
This is how to register for PM Kisan Yojana
Eligible beneficiaries should have Aadhaar card, citizenship certificate. These types of documents should be shown, from which the land can be certified near them. Apart from this, it is also necessary to give details of bank account. After this, the e-KYC process will be completed.
Eligible farmers can do this
β You have to register online by visiting PM-Kisan portal.
β Go to a nearby Common Service Center i.e. CSC.
β Farmers can also contact the nodal officer of their state government.
β Patwaris or revenue officials can be contacted at the local level.

They cannot get the benefit of the scheme
β All institutional land holders.
β Farmers families which belong to one or more of the following categories:
Former and current holder of constitutional posts
β Former and current ministers, ministers of state and Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha, State Legislative Assembly, former and current members of State Legislative Councils, former and current mayor of municipal corporations, former and current presidents of district panchayats.
β Central and state government ministries, offices, departments and its regional units Central or State Public Undertakings and all affiliated offices, autonomous institutions as well as all serving or retired officers and employees of regular employees of local bodies. Apart from these, leaving multi -tasking staff, class IV, Group D employees
β All retired and retired pension, whose monthly pension is Rs 10,000 or more, will not get the benefit of PM Kisan Yojana.
Apart from these, all the people paying income tax in the last assessment year.
β Doctors, engineers, lawyers, chartered accountants and architects are registered with professional bodies and are doing business by adopting practices, they will not get the benefit of the scheme.
