Prime Minister Narendra Modi has transferred the 17th installment of the scheme. Under this scheme, an amount of crores of rupees has been sent to the accounts of farmer brothers. Through the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Yojana, 6 thousand rupees are given to the farmer brothers every year. They get this money in three installments, installments of 2-2 thousand rupees are sent to the accounts of the farmer brothers throughout the year. Farmers use this money for their farming work. This scheme is also called the world’s largest DBT scheme. Under this scheme, an amount of Rs 20 crore was transferred to the accounts of farmers. This time 9.26 crore farmers were benefited under the scheme.

EKYC is mandatory
The benefit of the scheme has been received by those farmers who had completed all the necessary tasks. If you had not done bank EKYC, then money would not have reached your account. Apart from this, you could not avail the benefit of the scheme due to mistake in name, father’s name or any other detail while applying.

- step 1: First of all you go to the official portal of PM Kisan pmkisan.gov.in.
- Step 2: After this go to ‘Farmer Corner’ on the homepage.
- Step 3: Then you click on Beneficiary Status.
- Step 4: After this, the farmer brother will have to enter the Aadhaar number or account number.
- Step 5: Now click on Get Data.
- Step 6: After this check the beneficiary status and also check the payment status.
