Prime Minister Narendra Modi PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana was launched on 24 February 2019. The objective of this scheme was to remove the economic plight of farmers. With time the number of beneficiaries in this scheme kept increasing.
At present, through this scheme, financial assistance of Rs 6000 is given to farmers in three installments on annual basis. This has improved the economic condition of farmers. Farmers have benefited a lot from this scheme in Nalanda, Bihar. Due to this scheme, the income of farmers has not only increased. Rather, with the financial help provided to farmers, they are able to get fertilizers and seeds on time. Due to which the yield is not affected.
What did the farmers say? Farmer Manoj Kumar Singh, who is taking benefit of the scheme, said that the farmers have benefited a lot from the Kisan Samman Nidhi Scheme. I receive this Samman Nidhi on a cycle of every 3 to 4 months. Due to this, we do not face shortage of money for fertilizers and other things for farming. We are very happy with this. Under this we get Rs 6000 per year. This is a very commendable step by the Indian Government. Due to this we are getting a lot of benefit in farming also.
Rs 6000 annually
Another farmer Dharmendra Narayan Singh said that we have benefited a lot from this scheme. It helps us a lot in farming and household. This makes it easier to buy fertilizers and seeds. Also, under this scheme, farmers are given Rs 6,000 every year, which is received in three installments of Rs 2,000 each.

If various media reports are to be believed, the next installment of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi may be released very soon. Farmer brothers are eagerly waiting for the 19th installment of the scheme.
