It is the effort of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana that every farmer of the country should become self-reliant and has given a golden opportunity to the farmers to live with dignity. Under this scheme, financial assistance of Rs 6,000 is sent directly to the farmers’ bank accounts every year in the form of Samman Nidhi.
Under this scheme of the Government of India, the amount of Samman Nidhi is being given to small-marginal farmers in the form of installment of Rs 2,000 every four months, so that it is directly reaching the account of the beneficiary farmer under DBT. This scheme was started in 2019.
Farmers waiting for 19th installment to arrive
Till now, under PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, Rs 3.46 lakh crore has been released directly into the bank accounts of farmers till the 18th installment. Now the farmers are eagerly waiting for the 19th installment, but only those farmers who fulfill two conditions will be able to get the benefit of the scheme.
Farmers will have to keep these two things in mind
To avail the benefits of PM Kisan, farmers will have to provide complete information and get their eKYC updated. If you have applied to avail benefits under this scheme, then you will have to remember the registration number and update the eKYC details. Any farmer who forgets these two things, his name will be removed from the beneficiary list and he will not be able to get Rs 2,000 for the 19th instalment.
It is mandatory to do e-KYC
To avail the benefits of PM Kisan Yojana, it is mandatory to get e-KYC done, the link with Aadhaar will be done through mobile number or CSC center through biometric method. If the farmer has not completed this process or there is any deficiency then the 19th installment of Kisan Samman Nidhi may get stuck. This is how you can do eKYC check
Beneficiaries of PM Kisan Yojana can check their KYC status. For this they will have to go to pmkisan.gov.in. Farmer’s corner will be visible here. In this, the first option to be seen is EKYC. After clicking on it, OTP based eKYC will be written. After this he will ask for his Aadhaar number. By entering the Aadhaar number, the status of the farmer will be known. If KYC is incomplete then update it.
Do eKYC like this
First of all you have to go to pmkisan.gov.in. Select the option of eKYC in the Farmer Corner section on the homepage. Enter your 12 digit Aadhaar number on the eKYC page. After clicking on the search button, OTP will be sent to the mobile number from Aadhaar. Enter that OTP and click on the submit button. After successful eKYC, a message will appear stating that eKYC has been done successfully.
