PM Kisan 13th Installment: Lakhs of farmers who are taking advantage of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Scheme have not yet got their e-KYC done. According to the latest report, 70,000 farmers of Bandayu district of UP are unable to take advantage of the installments of PM Kisan. Investigation revealed that 40,000 farmers are not getting the benefit of installments of Rs 2,000 each due to lack of e-KYC. Out of these, 30,000 farmers are not able to take advantage of the installments due to other reasons. The UP Agriculture Department has also issued interim instructions that before the 13th instalment, it is necessary for all farmers to complete the process of e-KYC. For this, the deadline of February 10 has been fixed.
3 lakh farmers are getting benefits
According to media reports, about 3 lakh farmers of Bandayu district are getting the benefit of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. These farmers have also got the 12th installment. 70,000 farmers of the district are deprived of the 13th installment. There is also a problem that despite making e-KYC mandatory, farmers have delayed a lot. The correct identification of the farmers is not being done, so the installments are being released at a slow pace by the government.
Due to this delay in e-KYC
It has been learned from media reports that many farmers are facing technical problems in getting e-KYC done. Till some time ago, the site of the department was also not working properly, due to which there is a problem in getting Aadhaar and bank account linked. Because of this, the Samman Nidhi has also stopped. Due to some technical reasons, the work of the bank is also going slow. Some farmers have not got the verification of land records done. Land has not been updated online, which is said to be a major reason.
Farmer found ineligible in verification
Under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Scheme, the work of verification of farmers is going on in Bandayu district. Meanwhile, about 8,000 farmers have been declared ineligible, out of which many farmers are also dead. PM Kisan installments were being transferred to his account as well, but now his name has been removed from the beneficiary list.
