Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) Scheme is an important initiative of the Government of India, whose objective is to provide financial assistance to farmers. Under this scheme, an amount of Rs 6,000 is given annually to eligible farmers. However, it is mandatory to follow some necessary procedures and conditions to avail the benefits of the scheme. 1. Registration Process
To avail the benefits of this scheme, farmers will first have to register themselves. If you have not registered, you will be deprived of the benefits of this scheme. To simplify the registration process, the government has provided both online and offline options.
2. Linking to Aadhaar number
It is mandatory to link the Aadhaar number of farmers with their registration. This ensures that the identity of the beneficiary is clear. If your Aadhaar is not linked, your application process will remain incomplete and you will not be able to receive the assistance amount.
The farmer is required to submit proof of ownership of his farming land. If you do not have land documents in your name, you will not be able to avail the benefits of the scheme. Make sure that you have all the required documents correct and updated.
4. Following the guidelines
Farmers have to keep in mind that they are not taking assistance under any other government scheme. If you are receiving financial assistance from any other scheme, then you will not be considered eligible for PM Kisan Yojana.
Farmers will have to update their information from time to time. If your information is not updated, the assistance amount will not come to your bank account. It is important that you check your registration information regularly.
6. Correct bank account details
Your bank account details should be correct. Make sure that your bank account name and number are registered correctly. If the bank details are incorrect, you will not get the benefit of PM Kisan Yojana.
