One such scheme was started in the year 2018. Its name is Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. Under this scheme, farmers are given 6 thousand rupees annually. Three installments of two thousand rupees each are given to the farmers at an interval of four months. Farmers get money directly in their accounts through DBT.
So far 16 installments have been issued to the farmers. On 28 February 2024, the 16th installment was sent by the government to the farmers’ account. Now the farmers are waiting for the 17th installment. It is being estimated that the 17th installment of the scheme can be released in the month of June.
Let us tell you that after forming the government on June 9, Prime Minister Modi first signed the next installment of the Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. Therefore, now farmers are hopeful of getting the installment soon.
If you want, you can check the status of your installment online. For this, first of all you have to go to the official website of the scheme https://pmkisan.gov.in/.
After this, you will have to go to the home page and scroll down and click on Know Your Status. After this a new page will open in front of you. Where you will get the option of Know Your Registration Number. After clicking there, you will have to click on Get OTP.
After this, you will have to go to the new page and enter your mobile number linked to the scheme and fill the captcha. After this, after clicking on Get Data, you will see the installment information related to the scheme.
