PM Kisan Yojana: Many schemes are run by the Government of India for the citizens of the country. The government brings different types of schemes for people of different sections. India is an agricultural country. That is why the Government of India is also very concerned about the farmers of the country. Many schemes are also run by the government for the farmers. One of these schemes is the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana which was started in the year 2109.
Under this scheme, farmers are given financial assistance of Rs 6000 annually. This amount is sent to the farmers’ account at an interval of four months through DBT i.e. Direct Benefit Transfer. Prime Minister Modi has taken over the post of Prime Minister for the third consecutive time and now there are reports that he can increase the amount by giving a gift to the farmers. Let’s know what discussions are going on about this.
Can the money for Kisan Yojana increase?
Crores of farmers of the country get the benefit of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana run by the Government of India. Recently, the Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi has released the 17th installment of this scheme. More than 9 crore farmers have benefited from it. Meanwhile, there is a discussion that the benefits of the scheme can be increased by the Government of India.
That is, the money received under the scheme can be increased. The news is that in the upcoming agriculture budget, the Government of India can give additional benefits to the farmers by increasing the annual amount of Rs 6000 given under the scheme by Rs 2000 to Rs 8000. However, there has been no response from the government regarding this matter nor has any information been issued.
8000 rupees are available in Rajasthan
If the Government of India increases the amount of benefits given to farmers under this scheme, then it will not be a surprising step. Because the Rajasthan government is already giving Rs 8000 annually to the farmers under this scheme. The state’s Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma had increased the amount of Rs 6000 given in the Kisan Yojana by Rs 2000 under the Annadata Utthan Sankalp. Now speculations are being made that the central government can also take such a decision. However, the picture of this will be clear only after the agriculture budget comes.
