PM Modi said this in his Independence Day speech

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said in his Independence Day address from the ramparts of the Red Fort, “Today is the auspicious moment when we pay tribute to the freedom lovers who sacrificed their lives for the freedom of the country. This country is indebted to them. We express our respect towards every such citizen of the country.”

In his Independence Day address, PM Modi further said, ‘This year and for the past several years, our concern is increasing due to natural disasters. Many people have lost their family members and property in natural disasters. Today, I express my condolences to all of them and I assure them that this country stands with them in this hour of crisis.’
