Releasing six special commemorative postage stamps dedicated to Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that Ramayana connects the entire humanity with itself. The stories of Lord Ram, Mother Sita and Ramayana are connected with every person beyond the boundaries of time, society, caste, religion and region. Ramayana teaches us the victory of love even in the most difficult times, showing sacrifice, unity and courage. This is the reason why Ram and Ramayana have been the center of attraction and enthusiasm all over the world.
PM Modi said on Thursday, the album of postage stamps that has been released today is a reflection of this sentiment of how Lord Ram, Mata Sita and Ramayana are seen with pride and respect all over the world. Describing postage stamps as a medium to transmit ideas, history and historical occasions to the next generation, he said that when someone sends something through special postage stamps, a piece of history also goes with it. These are not just pieces of paper or artwork, but the smallest forms of history books, artefacts and historical sites.
Ticket will give message of new light
PM Modi said that the young generation will get to know a lot from these postage stamps. These include a grand picture of the Ram temple, a feeling of devotion to Ram through artistic expression, a wish for the welfare of the nation through Mangal Bhawan Amangal Hari. Suryavanshi is the image of the Sun symbolizing Ram, which is giving the message of new light in the country. Apart from this, there is also a picture of the virtuous river Saryu, which indicates that the country will always be in motion with the blessings of Ram, along with the beauty of the internal architecture of the temple has also been depicted on these postage stamps. In a way, the philosophy of five elements has been depicted in these stamps through Ram in miniature form.

PM Modi released an album of postage stamps of 20 countries like America, Australia, Cambodia, Canada, Czech Republic, Fiji, Indonesia, New Zealand, Thailand, Singapore, Guyana and Sri Lanka. It is of 48 pages. In this, the life events of Shri Ram have been depicted with respect and intimacy. PM Modi said that this shows that Ram is a great role model even outside the country. Ram and Ramayana have had a deep influence on all the civilizations of the world. Even in modern times, many nations have praised Ram. Along with this information, this album will also give a brief tour of the stories of Shri Ram and Janaki. In a way, Valmiki’s call is immortal even today…as long as there are mountains and rivers, the story of Ramayana and the personality of Shri Ram will remain ideal.
PM Modi sleeping on the ground, drinking coconut water
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is strictly following the Yama-Niyam as part of the rituals before attending the Pran Pratistha ceremony. As part of the 11-day ritual, PM Modi has also given up his bed.
