Jammu and Kashmir: Prime Minister after removal of Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir Narendra Modi Will make his first visit to Kashmir today Thursday (07 March). During this, along with inaugurating projects worth Rs 6400 crore, he will also address a public meeting in Srinagar. Keeping in mind the visit of PM Modi, tight security arrangements have been made in the area.
His program will be held at Bakshi Stadium in Kashmir. Meanwhile, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leadership is hoping that the visit will strengthen the party’s prospects in Muslim-majority Kashmir, where the party is trying to establish its foothold for the first time with an eye on the Lok Sabha seat in South Kashmir.
‘2 lakh people will attend PM Modi rally’
BJP state spokesperson Altaf Thakur said, “For us, Narendra Modi’s presence will be a big encouragement for our workers. Apart from developmental projects, there is every possibility that he will give some good news to the people of Kashmir.”
Apart from this, local party unit president Ravendra Raina said that two lakh people will participate in the rally. He said, “We have deployed hundreds of our workers to make this program historic.”

Former political activist Shehla Rashid wrote on Twitter, “Insha Allah, tomorrow PM Modi will visit Srinagar and inaugurate the Integrated Development Project of Hazratbal, one of the most revered Muslim pilgrimage sites in Srinagar.
